Privacy Policy
This policy explains what Lunar collects, how we use it, and who helps us run the Service. It covers Lunar, Inc. (“Lunar,” “we,” or “us”) and the Lunar service. Most of what we hold is content you put into the Service to do your work, and we treat it as yours. Our Terms of Service cover the agreement itself.

1. What we collect
We collect the information below. Most of it is content you choose to put into the Service; the rest is what we need to run your account and keep the Service working.

We do not ask for more than we need, and we do not require sensitive personal information to use the Service. You decide what content you upload.
2. How we use it
To provide the Service.
We use your information to run the Service: to store and organize your documents, to extract and index their contents, to answer your questions about them, to manage your account and organization, and to provide support. AI processing is part of this: to read, organize, and answer questions about your documents, the Service sends your content to our AI model providers, who process it only to provide these features to you. We do not use your content to train models for other customers.To keep the Service secure and working.
We use account and usage data to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the Service, to prevent abuse, to meet our legal obligations, and to understand how the Service is used so we can improve it.What we do not do.
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising. We do not share your case documents and records with anyone except the service providers that help us run the Service and people you choose to share them with in your organization.3. How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as your account is active and as long as we need it to provide the Service. You and your organization can delete content in the Service at any time.
When your account ends, you can export the content you put into the Service for a reasonable wind-down period. After that period we delete your content, except for backups we clear on our normal schedule and anything we are required to keep by law. We may keep usage data and records we need for security, billing, and legal reasons.
4. Security
We protect your information with encryption in transit and at rest, per-organization isolation, and access controls. You can read more on our security page.
5. California privacy rights
If you live in California, the California Consumer Privacy Act gives you rights over your personal information. Lunar honors these rights for California residents.

You can ask what personal information we hold about you and how we use it.Right to delete.

You can opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information.Lunar does not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We will not deny you service or treat you differently for using these rights. To make a request, email legal@trylunar.ai. We may need to verify your identity before we act on it.
6. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the Service changes or as the law requires. When we make a material change, we will post the updated policy here with a new effective date. If you keep using the Service after a change takes effect, you are agreeing to the updated policy.
